Dear Valued Customer,
New England Koi would like you to be informed of a recent scam that took place using our name and website. Over 27,426 customers were involved. A "ring" illegally purchased a list of Debit and Credit card numbers and attempted a "card testing" operation using our website. This "card testing" involved running a 10 cent purchase via our website to see is they could obtain a card number that would work so they could attempt larger purchases using this information. Fortunately we have Fraud Protection through our sites. So the sheer number of transactions triggered our team to stop/delete or void all of these 10 cent trials. Currently as you can imagine our phone has been ringing constantly, and we apologize for not being able to answer every one of the 27K plus calls. We want you all to be aware that your personal information is safe with us at New England Koi. What we can not tell you is what you should do next. The decision is yours to make regarding your card information. Many have opted to cancel their cards. We feel as violated by all this as you do, and we extended our deepest apologies for the inconvenience you are experiencing because of this.
