Plants of all kinds will root in Islandscapes - because of their unique growing properties you can grow terrestrial flowers, shrubs and grasses in addition to aquatic species - the possibilities are endless.

Islandscapes Floating islands mimic natural filtration systems. They absorb excess nutrients helping to control algae, provided shade and safety from predators, and are easy to install and maintain. In colder climates they can be left to ice in,with no ill effects, except of course, loss of plants.

Islandscapes are highly efficient floating bio filters that remove ammonia, phosphates, nitrites and nitrate. Plant roots and microbes consume excess nutrients that cause algae blooms, resulting in cleaner, clearer and healthier ponds. The effect on water quality can be dramatic and completely chemical free.

Choose the size that best fits your pond or tie several together to form larger islands or chains. Enjoy lush green growth and a colorful splash of flowers, choose from terrestrial or wetland plants to create a carefully cultivated or completely natural look.
