Also a great tool for viewing and monitoring water quality as it re-enters your pond from the filter system. These Sight Glasses are 12 inches long, available in 1.5 and 2 inch sizes, slipxslip unions on both ends. The sight glass can be used in line wherever you use regular PVC.
